In 2009, 770 Local Garage Door & Gate INC was founded as a single-truck operation built on a straightforward principle: provide honest diagnostics and technically rigorous repairs for homeowners. The overhead door industry was filled with national franchises focused on volume. We sought to construct a different model—one anchored deeply in the local community, emphasizing mechanical aptitude and structural integrity over aggressive sales quotas.
During our initial years, we responded to a diverse array of hardware failures, from severed high-tension torsion springs to malfunctioning commercial gate operators. By meticulously documenting common failure points in local architecture, we optimized our inventory, eventually expanding into a fully-stocked fleet of service vehicles capable of addressing complex mechanical challenges on the initial visit.
As we acquired more advanced diagnostic equipment and expanded our team, we retained our core identity as a locally owned entity. Our technicians reside in the same neighborhoods they service.
